Zarina Agee (she/her)
Mediation Services Case Coordinator
Q: What inspires you to be a Center for Dialog & Resolution Team Member?
A: What inspires me most is the opportunity to connect with people and help them navigate challenging situations with greater understanding and confidence. As a Mediation Services Case Coordinator, I work closely with clients, volunteer mediators, attorneys, and community members every day. I am continually inspired by the power of respectful dialogue and the positive impact it can have on individuals, families, workplaces, and communities. Being part of a team that values collaboration, integrity, and service allow me to combine my passion for helping others with meaningful work that makes a difference in our community.
Q: How does mediation, group facilitation, and training at the Center for Dialog & Resolution help people in Pierce County and beyond?
A: Mediation, group facilitation, and training help people build the skills and confidence needed to navigate conflict, strengthen relationships, and communicate more effectively. These services create opportunities for people to be heard, better understand different perspectives, and work collaboratively toward solutions. The skills learned through these services extend far beyond a single conversation and help create stronger, healthier communities throughout Pierce County and beyond.
Q: If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?
A: I would be a dolphin. Dolphins are intelligent, social, curious, and highly collaborative. Qualities that resonate with both my personality and my work. They are known for building strong connections, communicating effectively, and approaching life with a sense of playfulness and adventure. I believe meaningful work and a sense of humor can coexist, and dolphins remind me of the importance of balancing responsibility with joy. They are adaptable, resilient, and thrive through connection with others. Plus, who wouldn’t want the ocean as their playground?
